Great to see the Briton Ferry Town Clock, at Briton Ferry Public Library (BFCRC) restored.
The Town Clock which has been there since 1902 has always worked but the lighting did not work, the chimes have not been heard since the 1960s. The lighting has been rewired and fitted with energy saving bulbs and the Chimes should be working in the next few days. Lovely to see an iconic building in Briton Ferry being cared for. In an unprecedented year it will be lovely to hear the New Year celebrated with the chimes at Briton Ferry Public Library.
