In July 2018 Briton Ferry Town Council entered into a Contract with Commercial Christmas in respect of the provision of Christmas Lighting.
A deposit of £6650.00 was paid to Commercial Christmas, subsequently Commercial Christmas failed to comply with the terms of the contract.
Council determined that the value of the works performed amounted to £4332.40 and that Commercial Christmas owed Briton Ferry Town Council £2317.60.
Payment of this sum was requested from Commercial Christmas, no payment being received an application was made to the Court for a summons to be issued.
The Town Council has subsequently obtained Judgement and a Warrant in the sum of £2499.60 has been issued by the Court.
