It is with regret that the Town Council has to announce the deaths of two former Town Councillors.
Councillor Moyra Davies who served the Council from 1987 to 2017 including serving as Chair to the Town Councils predecessor Briton Ferry Community Council and three terms as Mayor of the Town Council.
Councillor Davies passed away at Singleton Hospital on the 27th October 2022. The funeral is Wednesday 16th November at 11:00am at St Mary’s Church to be followed by Cremation at Margam Crematorium at 12:00 noon
Councillor Sandra Davies who served the Council from 1995 to 2021 including three terms as Town Mayor. Councillor Davies passed away on the 9th November 2022. The funeral arrangements for former Councillor Davies are as follows: Thursday 1st December 2022 at 01:45pm at Margam Crematorium.
