Armed Forces Covenant
Our Commitment to the Armed Forces Community
Briton Ferry Town Council is proud to have signed the Armed Forces Covenant, demonstrating our commitment to supporting members of the Armed Forces community.
The Armed Forces Covenant is a national pledge to ensure that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated with fairness and respect in the communities they live in. It recognises the important contribution that serving personnel, veterans, reservists, and their families make to our country.
By signing the Covenant, the Council affirms its support for the Armed Forces community within our town and will work with local organisations, partners and residents to help ensure that members of the Armed Forces community are not disadvantaged when accessing services or opportunities.
We are proud to recognise the contribution of the Armed Forces and will continue to support activities and initiatives that honour their service and strengthen the relationship between the Armed Forces and our community.
Members of the Armed Forces community who live or work locally and would like further information or support are encouraged to contact the Council.
