We have now received the draft guidance, relative to the reopening of Community Centres, from Welsh Assembly Government.
The guidance is specific and states that community centres can only restart services at the discretion of Local Authorities i.e. Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council.
The purpose is to enable community centres to operate in a COVID-secure way.
It is our understanding that the type of activities that would be supported by the County Borough Council will be those that support the community to get back to work such as summer play schemes.
As far as leisure activities are concerned community centres remain closed pending the further lifting of restrictions.
