 Payroll costs are the cost to the Town Council of Employing Staff; as such they Include:

 i.   Gross Pay

 ii.  Employers National Insurance costs, approximately 13.8%

 iii. Employers Pension Contributions to the Local Government Pension Scheme, approximately 24.4%

 iv. Other Employment costs such as Travelling & Subsistence.
