We are back and tentatively starting socially distanced rehearsals.
We are hoping it won’t be long before we are back playing in the parks, in concerts, and at competitions. Please get in touch if you have any events that you would like us to consider taking part in.
Briton Ferry Silver Band members decided that they needed a project this summer to get back into regular practice , and submitted a remote recordings entry to the brass band contest of this year’s National Eisteddfod.
We are so pleased to tell you that our entry got through the preliminary rounds, and we have been told that the performance will be shown on S4C , at approximately 4pm , on Monday 2nd August. (But it may be worth checking the tv listings on Monday as we’ve been given a few different times recently)
Other bands will be highlighted on the program around that time too, so maybe you’d like to have a look? The programme will be in Welsh, so maybe click on to use subtitles.
