During week commencing November 14th, Neath Port Talbot have finally replaced, the catenary wires required for the installation of the Welcome to Briton Ferry Banner.
However, on inspection the contractor for Briton Ferry discovered that the footings holding the “Dummy Pole” are cracked and unsafe and therefore require replacing.
This cannot be achieved in time for Christmas 2022 but the Council is taking steps to ensure it will be in place for Christmas 2023.
