Briton Ferry Town Council would like to congratulate a very popular Briton Ferry Couple, Peter & Margaret Williams, who are celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary today June 27th 2020.
Peter and Margaret got married in St Thomas’s Church, Neath and held the reception at Cai Rhys Ddu Cimla with 100 guests. They honeymooned in London.
Peter worked at the Steel Works for 20 years and then the Police until he retired. Margaret has worked in Briton Ferry most of her married life, first at Karen’s Florists 15 years, Bokay Florists 23 years and now Briton Ferry Florists so is very well known in Briton Ferry. Margaret is also a volunteer at Briton Ferry Rugby Club making food for the Teams.
They have a daughter Nicola, Son In Law Dai Jones and one grandson Callum.
