Public Notice - Town Council Precept 2026-27

Briton Ferry Town Council has now agreed its budget for 2026/27. In setting the budget, Councillors carefully considered the impact on residents and worked to keep the increase as low as possible while continuing to maintain the essential services our community relies on.

The Town Council element of council tax will increase by approximately £11.24 per annum, which equates to approximately £0.22p per week per Band D household from April 2026. However, many homes in Briton Ferry fall within Bands A, B or C, meaning the actual weekly increase for those households will be less than £0.22p per week.

We appreciate your support and remain committed to serving Briton Ferry.
