Ysgol Carreg Hir celebrated HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a party, games, and cooking lessons. The children were given a budget to buy food and planned for the party. Celebrations were held throughout the week commencing 23rd May and an invite was sent to the School Governors to attend the party on Friday May 27th. The weather was glorious and the party was held outside. The children made posters and hats for the occasion and learned about the HM The Queen. A chef was brought in for the celebrations and the children had lots of fun, also learning to cook healthy meals. A good time was had by all, thank you for inviting us to be part of a momentous occasion.
