Briton Ferry Town Council is sad to hear of the death of the former Councillor Don Leavens. Don was a Councillor from May 1987 until he Retired at the May 2003 elections. Don served as Chairman of the then Briton Ferry Community Council for the year 1992-93. During his year of office Don officially opened Briton Ferry Community Hall on the 12th May 1993.
Don’s daughter Denise advised the Council that Don passed away during the morning of Tuesday 16th May.
Don’s funeral is on Wednesday 7th June at 11:15 at Margam Crematorium, afterwards at the Twelve Knights.
