Remembrance Day Sunday November 14th 2021

I would like to apologise for the misunderstanding regarding Armistice Day and any upset it has caused to St Mary’s Vicar and members of St Mary’s. The decision not to hold a service and March from St Mary’s was taken by the Town Council not the Church due to rising cases of Covid19  in NPTCBC. The amount of people gathering would make it impossible to socially distance. The decision was made to meet at the Cenotaph as was done last year. Next year we hope to hold our Armistice service and March as we have done in the past, prior to the unprecedented circumstances during the last 19 months.
